The Billboard Music Awards have returned to their regular May slot this year after a show delayed in October 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The show was hosted live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles by Nick Jonas and featured stunning performances. The Weeknd, BTS, Marshmello x Jonas Brothers and Pink among many others captivated music lovers with their performances. Bad Bunny took the stage to perform Te Deseo Lo Mejor from his record-breaking 2020 album El Último Tour Del Mundo, which made history as the first all-Spanish album to debut at No.1 on the charts. Billboard 200. The Puerto Rican artist has won four awards. 21st century pop icon group BTS brought us all together with the first performance of their brand new single Butter. The Weeknd – who led the field with a staggering 16 nominations – took home seven awards. BTS took home the awards, winning every category they were nominated for.
