Giuseppe Ottaviani & Mila Josef “Fade Away” with Uplifting New Single

January sees Giuseppe Ottaviani continue the singles race that will lead to the release of his fifth artist album in late spring. Having already brought many new nuances to his music through “With You” sung by Monika Santucci and the freshly composed instrumentalism of “The Wind In My Face”, the Italian goes three for three with the almost incredibly touching “Fade Away”. ‘.

The track features Mila Josef, a vocalist who respects privacy and avoids the spotlight, who believes words and voice are all that should matter in the modern age. Others agree, including producers like Armin van Buuren and MaRLo. Highlighting this, his collaboration “Lighter Than Air” with the latter became ASOT’s Song of the Year 2019, while Armin-produced “This I Vow” followed suit in 2020.

Giuseppe fell in love with its lyrics and song and offered to collaborate on a release, “Fade Away” being their first single which the couple recorded together. While in many ways Mila’s voice exudes quiet courage and determination, there’s not much that escapes the endless sadness behind her lyrics. Giuseppe’s production on “Fade Away” plays to Mila’s considerable vocal strengths, but also balances the lament with just the right amount of dynamism and flint.
