Kalvin Clark, 32, of Pine Grove, told police he had an argument with his grandmother, Zimmerman, on Saturday night, according to reports.

Clark is reported to have told state soldiers that he took his cell phone to prevent him from calling the police. The next morning, he tried to put her in the shower, but her body felt cold to the touch, according to reports.
The WNEP reports that Zimmerman was found with bruises all over her body and had a “major injury to her face.”
Neighbors told WNEP that Zimmerman was a kind and caring person.
“Miss Sharon was in everyone’s life in the region here. She would tell you how to mow your grass and how to make your flower beds and if you didn’t mow it in the right direction, ”Alfred Kohr told the station. “But she would bring Christmas presents and birthday presents to my son.”
Clark faces charges of aggravated assault and common assault, but police would not say if additional charges are pending, noting that the case is still under investigation, according to reports. .
