Tutara Peak & Aether Release New Single “Yukijo”

UK producer Tutara Peak is celebrating the release of his collab with fellow Canadian Aether, which is slated for release on Wednesday, October 12. The couple’s work “Yukijo” explores ambient, vibrant, and downtempo soundscapes that demonstrate the diversity of compositional styles of the two.

“Yukijo” is a lush, curated assortment of electronic and organic elements over almost four minutes. Throughout the track, listeners can hear perfectly harmonized strings, horn melodies with precise percussion peppered throughout, with creative synth and downtempo bass lines creating a hybrid delivery of innovative electronic music. Boasting the iconic sounds of both Tutara Peak and Aether, the release offers a fine illustration of the two artists‘ production skills.

The latest single is a direct follow-up to Tutara Peak’s summer 3-track EP Radiance – which has seen support from tastemakers across the space from Billboard, EARMILK, This Song Is Sick, CelebMix and more.

Born in the UK’s South West countryside, Tutara Peak is the creative genesis of producer and songwriter Harvey Carter. Teasing the project’s birth in early 2020 with the mission-focused single “Daydream”, the single was released in support of the UN Refugee Agency and has since garnered over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify only.

Tutara Peak’s official launch came in 2021 through “Raining Teeth” with Little Snake via Flying Lotus’ famed Brainfeeder label. That same year, Tutara Peak released their debut EP Tansuri featuring Lamb’s Lou Rhodes and frequent collaborator Zes. The blossoming artist capped off the breakthrough year by debuting his immersive live set at two sold-out shows in London in direct support of Zola Blood and Hybrid.

The musical brainchild of Canada-based Scotsman Jason Taylor, Project Aether quickly saw the talented producer sign with major electronic labels in the space such as Monstercat. As Aether continues its musical efforts by diversifying its catalog.

With more new music on the horizon and a rosy trajectory, Tutara Peak’s gained momentum sets the stage for a thrilling ascent in time to come.
